Public adjusters prepare cost estimates and interpret insurance policies to determine covered and uncovered items and to negotiate with the carrier to a fair settlement for the property owner.
Can I use my attorney?
Unlike your attorney, a public adjuster specializes in property damage matters. The expertise of a public adjuster focuses specifically on technical matters involving building damage assessment, building code, and extensive knowledge of property insurance policy language. An attorney, on the other hand, focuses on legal statute and procedural matters that are not relevant to the claims process unless the claim is escalated.
How Much Do You Charge for Your Services?
We don’t charge for our services until you receive your settlement, at which point we would receive % of the final settlement of the loss.
